Even though Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke declared that the recession was over for the U.S. on September 15, 2009, the effects of the recession will extend beyond the technical indicators and well into 2010. In addition, with more and more companies moving overseas or cutting jobs in the U.S. And Canada, in favor of hiring cheap labor overseas, people will continue to experiences the effects of downsizing and retirement plans in jeopardy.
